i'm very confused of what to do with our first rounder now. we could really go a lot of places with it. with the pace signing we could easily go CB, DE, RB, WR, ILB anyone would make sense to me. I actually think gholston would be a bad pick unless the FO isn't feelin Bryan Thomas anymore. But if Gholston was picked and he started we would be 3/4th of the way to a dominating linebacker core (assuming pace plays up to his $$ worth)

I haven't posted here in a while, but with all these offseason moves the FO is making I have to comment. Bartonhopefully will be replaced, as well as Barrett. Elam on the other hand, I still have not seen enough from him. I don't know if Kenyon Coleman is the greatest either, although he was stopping the run well last year at times. We need to compliment Harris at ILB. Revis is gonna be a stud one day. Rhodes is great. Harris is a beast. We got some good playmakers on this D as it is. I would not be upset if BArton and Barret were still here come Game 1, but I feel the FO should try and upgrade.

I hated the Justin Miller draft selection. He's done nothing from scrimmage to make me start to like him. He's been pretty bad as a cornerback. I think the Jets should consider converting him to safety.

I think our defense will be spectacular. I hope our Offense is just as good.

That's an idea; I'd agree with this. But this means the SS void is filled via free agency. (Eugene Wilson?)

    elam needs to be replaced
i was dissapointed that the jets didnt make a hard enough run at samuel
Isnt Ghostlen going to play DE if he comes to the jets?
What would Pace have to do with Ghostlen?
The jets need a proven starter at Cornerback

Agreed. Tom Brady will get to know the turf intimately this coming season.

Im worried about DRob- Hopefully we can find someone else to trade him to- It would be a shame if we lose those two picks and wind up cutting him and getting nothing

you could use ghostlen insted of coleman
    sign a solid cb
draft a ss in the 4th round
and then you could live with pace harris barton thomas,i would personally draft a new speedy kid at lb round 4

and for your offense you could draft Doucet in round 2, Rice in the 3rd,And a TE or a OL iN the 4th or 5th round

uh, no; Ghoulsten would be a 3-4 OLB- you don't have 265 lb. DE's in a 3-4 defense...

No. Pace is an outside linebacker/defensive end. He wouldn't be as effective as an ILB. A couple plays here and there would be okay, though.

I think our defense was good last year, but the only thing was our offense was so bad that our defense was always on the field. Any offense can score after they had the defense on the field 3/4 of the game. But im excited to see our defense this season, we should be pretty decent

If the D-rob deal gets done, which it probably will happen, the jets should think about trading 2 of those 4th rounders for a 2nd or a 3rd,
then you could get a cb in the 2nd round,so you can have revis, hopefully cromartie ect.

i could see the defense pan out like this

    de Ellis
    Nt Jenkins
    De Coleman/Draft 1 in the 4th round

    Lb Pace
    lbHarris
lbBarton/Hobson/Thomas, i would only keep 2 of these players, trade one of them
    lbGhostlon

    Cb Revis
Cb pat lee or flowes with trade
    Fs K rhodes
SS Try to move Miller there or Use poteat
    and have an offense like

    Qb Clements Penny
Rb TJ, Ray rice , Leon (Tj is probably in his last year as a jet)
    Wr Coles, Cotch,Early or Hardy,Smith
    Te,Baker,Ryan
    O-Line D-Brick, Faneca, Mangold, Woody,B.Moore
