    Heard it was for a 4th & a 5th ... maybe someone came in late & offered the Jets just a bit more.

    I think the only think holding it back was a contract issue, which is the same reason Cincy's deal for Rogers fell through.

    Cincy refused to pay D Rob his $9 million + salary and D Rob didn't agree with whatever the Bengals offered.

    Bengals are a laughing stock at not being able to sign guys they trade for.

    It's just sad at this point. The Bengals biggest need has been DT for like 5 years now, and still, they can't get the job done.

    Frankly, though, I wouldn't touch the tepid tub of lard that is DSlob, if I were Cincy FO.

    Or maybe they just said, hey look at all the guys the Jets justed signed, maybe we can wait until the Jets are forced to cut Robertson.

    John Clayton didn't say the deal is off yet, he said that they are still negotiating. Quite frankly I don't know what to believe.
