I hope you're right, but I'll believe it when I see it. He couldn't even crack the starting lineup amongst the clowns we had last season.
Bender imo will not get Past Training Camp , montgomery , turner and oldenburg are better prospects but we will draft a OL.
If you're going to pump up your OL like this, does it make it more enticing to draft a homerun hitter like McFadden if he falls to you? Especially if the Jets have signed Calvin Pace to lessen the need for Gholston.
We need a homerun hitter on the outside more than a RB. Jones & Washington are more than serviceable at RB. We need somebody that can stretch the field.
Callahan has already made his presence felt. I was so down after the season but now I'm amped for September.
Woody is close to sign with the Jets as i hear it for about 4-5 million a year. It should be a multiyear deal
The draft is deep with big talented WR's. I can see the Jets taking one with their 2nd pick and definitely in the 4th rd with their multiple picks. There isn't a WR worth the 6th pick so they would have to be trading down, likely to a team wanting McFadden, and maybe get a WR late in the first. I don't think the odds are great of that happening.
another bad signing getting a player from one of the worst lines in the nfl we finally get under cap and pull a new york knicks with terrible signings
Anyone have any links on this yet? If we lock up Pace and Woody in one day I'd be thrilled. If our O-Line was D'Brick | Faneca | Mangold | Moore | Woody, I'd drop my jaw. Callahan would have absolutely NO REASON not to make this the best offensive line in the league.
Playing on a bad line doesn't mean you're bad. This guy's played on a lot of good lines too (mainly in NE). You don't think teams would take Nick Mangold in the blink of an eye even though our line was terrible last year? Another great deal IMO.
Detroits line improved when he stepped in at RT... Doesn't seem like we overpaid for this signing, looks like a really solid signing. I would be ecstatic if we can draft a RT in the draft to complement Woody.
