    this is crazy for the steelers. I know ben got them a ring a coupla years back, but since then, he has not been this elite QB that deserves a 100+ million dollar deal... thats 12.75 million per year... ben is good but not Peyton/Brady good...

    When you find a Franchise-QB you gotta lock him up. I would love to have a Player like Ben locked up here for 8 years. 12.75 M a year or not.

    ... not true! if Ben were some how a free agent today.. how much do you think the Falcons and Dolphins would offer him?

    The guy played very well despite having poor pass protection in several games last year (more due to the tackles, I wouldn't put a lot of that blame on Faneca).
