He's on the trade block. What would it take to get him?

I would guess a first rounder? He was pretty good last year wasn't he?

  3. I'm surprised he's on the block and not schwiegert.

Yeah the Raiders will demand a first rounder or early second (HEY!) but Huff has a six year, 43 million dollar contract. That's going to be hard to trade..

Throw in Rob Ryan and I'll make the trade.

Where are you finding this information? I only see it on Message Boards, which I tend not to believe without other media coverage.

Huff would look great in our secondary, if he is, in fact available. He would probably be the type that can play CB on a large reciever or SS. Didn't he play CB at Texas?

Word here on the Left Coast is that Al wants to get rid of him badly. It won't take a first rounder, because for the most he's underachieved. Also with the signing of Gibril Wilson, the Raiders will be looking to dump his salary.I bet he could be had for a fourth.

We have three fourths. If one of them is what it takes to get this guy I say do it.

If a fourth would do it, then I wouldn't hesitate.

That being said, how can the Raiders afford the escalated cap hit from trading him?

I would cost them more than $11 million on the cap this year if he is traded.
