I really hope some terrible things come out about this guy in the next couple of weeks. Maybe Howie gave a bunch of money to Virginia? Maybe he's got an illegitimate child? Too small to be dominant in the NFL? Please, anything. Just enough to drop him five spots or so.
This kid is the poster child for the NFL, family oriented, hard working, nice, smart, marketable, possible future spokesman for the league... He's really the perfect player.
There aren't many strip clubs by UVA. Just watch, he'll be shooting up New York/New Jersey strip clubs in no time, though I hear that he prefers arson.

Yeah, if you were ever looking for a flat out stud in every way, this is the guy. He almost can't not be the first pick at this point.
The only knock on him is that he doesn't strike you as the kind of guy with one skill that will separate him from the pack. He doesn't have the speed, explosive and attitude that made Lawrence Taylor sick. He doesn't have the pure athleticism, speed, and power of Ware or Merriman. But he's a very good athlete and I'm starting to believe the Vrabel comparisons.
Reminds me of the knock on Hines Ward coming out of college. Jack of all trades, master of none. Seriously, I believe a majority of top-ten-picking teams have Bill Parcells number on speed dial. This guy is a lock. Work ethic, motor, size, speed, athleticism, pedigree, heart, leadership- I mean for Christ's Sake, they retired his jersey before he even finished his college career. If Chris Long is a bust, I know absolutely nothing about football.
He might lack one signature skill, but I think he just shines in all categories. If someone can even say his game has weaknesses, it's just a matter of pointing to something he doesn't excel at, but still does very well. He might never be a dynamic edge rusher like Dwight Freeny, but he's the kind of player you could build a defense around.
haha I love when everyone says Motor and work ethic for Chris Long, Great he has a work ethic and that motor never stops, heart, leadership..another poster said he is like a Vrabel. You guys have basically named any player that works hard and hustles in rounds 2-7......I think Chris Long is going to be a decent Pro, but he is not worth the ridiculous amount of money he will get as the # 1 pick in the NFL. Unless he is the fastest 3-4 LB in the draft or the strongest 4-3 pass rusher in the draft he is not worth the # 1 pick. (he is not either of those). I understand he could fit Parcells system, but Parcells is a little smarter then that, he will move that pick or just go with Matt Ryan before he wastes a ton of money on a guy who is known for his motor, heart, and leadership instead of his talent.
