Don't forget Chad, there's a 50/50 chance that he'll be the starter next year. With a revamped line he could have a good year for us.

HAH, I thought you were playing a game of which of these pictures does not go with the other. I guess the first and third photos were random irony. Or a happy accident.

Or he could throw game deciding INTs in the 4th, that would be swell.

They are rebuilding the line for Chad to play behind, not Ryan Leaf Clemens. Mark my words.

Finally someone who sees where this is all heading! Chad can be a very effective QB given the right circumstances. Like having a freaking good line!

I wish I knew where all this Pennington Kool-Aid was being served. What do you guys see in Pennington. I dont understand it. Clemens has a big arm, the ability to run for a first down and is pretty comfortable running the 2 minute offense. He will be better next year with more experience and with a better supporting cast. Pennington has no arm(its worse than ever), hes now prone to making mistakes, hes completely immobile, he now plays without confidence and he gives the team zero chance of getting into the end zone. I dont get the push for Pennington.

It's not lack of faith in Clemens. He'll eventually take over but to rate Chad on last year is not fair given the lack of protection he had to endure. If he wins the QB battle he'll have a good year, mark my words!

Pretty much because Chad has led the Jets to the playoffs every year he has been healthy except for last year. You're giving Clemens the excuse of Lack of supporting cast for last year, then you're gonna have to give it to Chad, too. Clemens was absolutely horrible last year and I saw nothing to make me think he will be good with or without a line. Chad on the other hand.......

Terry Bradway killed Chad...By barely signing anyone to protect him after the 2002 season

Chad has taken Playoff caliber teams to the playoffs and lost every time he got there. He is hardly ever healthy and the rules have been altered significantly to favor the deep passing game.

Clemens was horrible but not as horrible as Chad. The guy has a great release and a live arm that Chad can only dream about. His footwork was awful and the game speed was beyond him all correctable.
