Oh by the way just in case anyone was wondering, Adam Schefter is a hell of a reporter, he is usually spot on when he says stuff. For that reason I like him. After having worked with him personally for the NFL Network during the Redskins game against the Bears this past season, I am hereby saying Schefter is a very big nerd, and is truly a prick in person. But still one of the best. Youth?
Olivea is a local guy and young 26 - and Gross would be awesome. What about Jacob Bell or Jake Scott? Sure Moore is solid and signed at guard - so RT makes more sense, but...

I checked the Panthers' web site and Gross was franchised on 2/20...but many of the other boards don't list him as Franchised...honest mistake
I think gross would be too pricey considering we just got one of the top 3 guards in the league, Olivea would be really nice but I think its gonna end up being Woody, who is still a much better option than Clement
Gross was franchised and Olivea was cut. The Chargers gm had some unkind words about him. I'm sure someone can find the quote. Something along the lines of I just think he lost the desire....
