Jets interested in Lito Sheppard...

    Trade Coles for him? Coles has been injured but he plays thru it.

    Lito is very talented and would like the tandem of him and Revis. Not to mention he is already under contract and has had no gripes about money.

    But Lito tweaks a hammy and he is done for weeks...Coles is a warrior...Lito is soft.

    I'd like to have him, just not at the expense of Coles.

    who would be our #1, lito is very good, so is revis, it would be a good problem to have

    Revis is a stud, he really doesn't have a weakness.

    I dont agrree with cotch being #1. He couldnt handle it with Coles down last year. He had a few bad games with LC out. So we need coles..

    yeah..Sheppard is injury prone. Granted, he is a pro bowler ....but I wouldn't pay this guy the big money....too much of a risk.

    We should've went after Drayton Florence....but the Jags signed him this afternoon.

    Pay what money to Lito?

    Philly locked him up a few seasons ago at 5yr/$25 mil with like 7 mil in a signing bonus?

    He has made no gripes about a contract.

    Neither did Jenkins...but the Jets tore up his existing contract anyways and gave him the big cash.

    Not saying they would with Lito....but it can't be ruled out.

    If Philly trades us Sheppard for D-Rob, I'm not sure if that means the Jets are brilliant, the Eagles stupid, or both.
