Lito Sheppard is on the block in Philly

Jets should get creative and see if they can make a deal for this 2 time Pro Bowler.

Sure, why not. If Jets can unload D-Rob for him, that'd be a double bonus. They'd be getting rid of an over-paid stump while getting back something actually useful in return.

    I say pass.

Sheppard has a had a lot of injury problems, which is the reason why they got Samuel in the first place and why they are trading him. Unless they'd be willing for a Sheppard/Robertson even swap, then I say pass.

If we could get a late 2nd or early 3rd for D-Rob, I'd trade our 2nd for Sheppard. He's a very good corner.

I believe Lito is a year YOUNGER than Samuel... The Jets are running a man 2 man Defense instead of the Zone... Samuel is perfect for Zone D coverage, but Sheppard is THE BEST Cover corner in the leauge, well Bailey is prolly better but Sheppard has to be the 2nd best coverage corner, I would love a secondary with Sheppard, Revis, Rhodes and Elam... I just think its a little unreal that we could lang Sheppard

SEVERAL TEAMS INTERESTED IN SHEPPARD by Michael David Smith

It's only been 24 hours since the Philadelphia Eagles signed cornerback Asante Samuel, but they're already hearing from teams interested in trading for the cornerback Samuel replaced in the starting lineup.

A league source tells PFT that several teams are showing preliminary interest in trading for cornerback Lito Sheppard. Those teams include the Texans, Saints, Buccaneers, Browns, Rams and Jets.

A team can never have too many good cornerbacks, and the Eagles could choose to keep Sheppard, especially if they move right cornerback Sheldon Brown to safety. But given how much interest there is in Sheppard, it seems more likely that he'll be shipped elsewhere.

PHI would want a 2nd or 3rd(Which we dont got)

But if Coles continues to be disruptive, wouldent shock me to see a Coles and 4th for Sheppard done. Wouldent shock me from this FO. and PHI if they cant land Moss or J Walker would want a WR.

Sirius has said the Eagles biggest need is DT. Robertson would be part of any deal.

We have pieces we could move and we really need another good corner to play along side Revis.

I would never trade Coles for Sheppard. Coles needs a new deal he plays his ass off every week. I would rather have gay

I would trade DRob or Coles for him but I do not want to give up any more draft picks. You are right, we would have to re-do his deal.

Next objective, trade DRob to Cincinnati, Denver, Tampa or Detroit for a #3 and #5
