It's not that great of a signing. His ankle will never get better. His ankle is quite important in pushing off at the DT position.
He'll be okay in Buffalo. He passed a physical and will be apart of a rotation so he wont be asked to do as much as the Jags were asking from him.
They haven't reported what the Bills gave up for him. Facing this guy twice a year is going to be difficult. Combine him with Larry Tripplett and McCargo, Schobel and Kelsay and you may just have the most dominant line we're likely to encounter next season. How do we match up, now? Fergie, Handlebars, Manchild, Less, and Roller Skates! It's a crazy crew! Do we need Olivea or do we pick up a tackle in the second or third round? (Don't forget that we also play Jason Taylor's little crew twice and they might have Chris Long by that point.)
Larry Tripplett was waived. Stroud is a good player but can't stay healthy. After the ankle injury in '06, he hasn't been the same even when on the field.
it looks like everybody in our division realizes the way to beat the pats is through superior DL play. us with jenkins, bills with stroud, dolphins with pace. something tells me it's going to be even crazier after the draft if the phins take chris long, we take gholston and bills take a DE.
remember stroud had micro-fracture surgery on his ankle. Anytime you hear micro-fracture surgery you should definitely be concerned. I really don't know any player in the NFL who has had micro-fracture surgery and come back from it and still be the same player.
