    Why did Smiley sign with the phins within like an hour of FA starting and this is taking forever?

    only the jets can target a big time guy only to have the CARDINALS come out with an eleventh hour push.......

    if the jets do NOT land him it will be the mother of all rejections for this franchise.

    wasn't it winfield that walked out on bradway back in 03 or so....

    Because Smiley is garbage...and would've signed for "pocket lint" just to keep his job in the NFL.

    It clearly has to do with Faneca weighing his options and us not being his first choice. If the Cards had the room he probably would already be in Arizona.

    it's like I said in an earlier post.....if Faneca bends over the Jets....not only will it be an embarrassment.....it may diffuse any other potential FA's from signing with us. Make no mistake...this is a pivotal signing.

    i disagree. if he signs in arizona, where he has major longterm relationships with the coaches, it's a bummer but not an embarrassment.

    I would be FURRIOUS and so PISSED if ANY team gets Faneca.... Thats NOT the Jets, Str8up....

    But...

    I know BB and the Patriots, and I know how much BB hates the Jets, if he knows the Jets are the front runners, you think he could make a move on Faneca in the next 15 mins?

    agreed....BUT...if he signs in Arizona for less money....then yes, it's a total embarrassment.....as of now, Arizona can't afford him....
