Most ppl seem to agree that we need OL help and our high 2nd and 3rd round picks seem the ideal spot to improve the long-term strength ouf our line, which any of our QB candidates will need to be successful.

What are possible players for us to draft at both OG and RT in the upcoming draft(regardless of us pursuing Faneca or someone else in FA) with our picks?

The three notable Right Tackles in the draft are Gosder Cherilus, Boston College; Jeff Otah, Pittsburgh; Carl Nicks, Nebraska. Each could be available at our second round pick and I think Nicks might even be there in the third.

If you want a sleeper - Donald Thomas from Uconn. Look him up - was a walk on, made the team and has started at Uconn. Good size and very quick with his feet. Ran a 5.00 40 yard dash - was the second fastest for an offensive lineman.

Plus -- He's definitely a Mangini type of guy. National Honor Society, travelled the world, intelligent. He could be an interesting prospect in the 3rdto 5th round, if not later.

This kid could be a monster.

I definitely see us drafting at least one of the named offensive tackles in the draft (probably round 2) unless some other player has fallen into the second round that we just could not pass up.
