High expectations for himself.. i like that, shows will to get better and to never quit achieving more.. sounds like pick #6 to me. http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d806dbf70
He has never been accused or caught using steroids or HGH why would you even put that out there it's very closed mind and ignorant. Dude I am 5'9" 201lbs and can bench 375lbs as my max I have never touched any type of enhancing drug in my life hard work pays off just because your a couch potato and too lazy to achieve don't tear someone else down who has actually gotten off his a**.
Yes your a coach patato mc, because you believe an athlete uses steroids.... We all know nobody uses anything these days
So your saying a person can't bench 225 37 times without using steroids or some sort of enhancement. It's always those that don't do sh*t that criticize and speculate and assume the worse when doing 225 37X is not that difficult if you put in the work.
Dude titans chill out man, and yes i believe I have heard people asking the question of whether Gholston is on the roids. Granted there has never been anything substantial in terms of a real accusation or evidence, but in todays world, it is a very real thing that Professional athletes use steriods. Plus with all the comparisons to Merriman, because of his SIZE build and athletic ability, it needs to be said Merriman was suspended for being on the roids, and his production dropped an awful lot afterwards... No one said it can not be done, but there is a huge difference between being able to bench 375 pounds, and being able to take on a 345 pound offensive lineman for 60 mins of Professional football, and sometimes the young guys try to gain a "competitive edge..."
No it didn't. The guy had 12.5 sacks, 2. FF, and 5 PD. He didn't exactly fall off a clip...plus since he got suspended The Gholston accusations are ridiculous, but a sign of the times I guess. He was a body builder before this. The body builder thing has somehow become a knock, but being a body builder requires a ridiculous work ethic, a confident mentality, and alot of self motivation. The guy gets nothing but praise in those areas, yet I see alot of people attack him because they watched one whole game (the LSU one). Most didn't even bother to talk about what he did do in that game either. You'd think he just stood there that whole game the way some people talk about it. Honestly, I'm starting to think alot of Jets fans like to knock Gholston because he just fits too well for it to possibly work out for a franchise like the Jets. He must be on steroids...he gives up on run plays didn't you see the LSU game...he doesn't seem too bright (huh?)...he's a loner (wtf?)...so many of these things are so exaggerated.
Yikes calm down. I dont want to get beat up by your 5'9'' 201 lb self. I would definitely lose that one.. Hey, it happens. I didnt say he did it, I barely even accused him of doing steroids. I just said it was risky.
I look at him a little funny as well. Bench press is a good fit for your build, the shorter your arms the better. Remember Ghoulstons age and size (around 22 and over 6'3 with long arms.). This a young guy who is really over developed for his age, he's only a junior. I know a little about lifting as well, and the strongest guys don't usually have the biggest arms. Power lifters are rarely the most cut and not the speediest, you can't have everything, especially by 22. I'm sure he works hard though, taking stuff is not a knock on a work ethic, it just shows a lack of patience. If he is taking HGH I could care less, I don't think it is bad if taken correctly and there won't be a test for it for another 10 years. There is a big difference between taking HGH and steriods.
