Honestly, how many people said Ngata at the time? At the time it was either Liehnart or D'Brick. It appears we made the right decision IMO.
6'7 290+ pound DE's with 4.7 speed and a shitload of power will find a way to fit. Williams fits perfectly into Parcell's global theory... We could have him at 3-4 DE...3-4 OLB...a coach will find a way to us a player with Williams' size, power, and athleticism.
Cap. Situation. It seems alot of people forgot how bad of shape we were in in '06 and '07... '06 there was practically no room...'07 we had slightly more but then the market blew up.
I was under the impression that Cutler has been kind of a bust in the NFL....I know he's still young, but so is Leinart, Vince Young, Quinn. Not to mention guys like Romo and Derek Anderson who are young and playing better than all of them. I wouldn't want Cutler, I'd rather keep Brick and hope he gets better....which I think he will.
