Vilma would do well in their 4-3, and the 2-time pro bowler would make a nice partner for Revis. I think the Eagles would have to throw in a 6 or 7 to even things out.
How often do you see player for player trades anymore? Hardly ever. Eagles have denied that they are giving Lito permission to seek a trade anyway.
no. we have MUCH bigger needs then CB. It would be nice to add something on the other side of revis, but if we get rid of vilma, it better be for someone that's going to instantly upgrade either the o line, d line or LB (not to mention WR if Coles jets outta here)
I don't think the eagles would trade Sheppard, they would be pretty dumb to let him go. It makes more sense for the jets to go after shaun rogers, or if they really want a corner to trade for deangello hall or sign samuel. Personally I think if the jets are going to trade vilma, it should be for rogers straight up, it's a fair deal for both sides.
Andy Ried is a dick when comes to trading. Remember he offered the 49ers a 5th round pick for T.O at first. Even though T.O wanted to leave and no matter how much you hate him, he is still one of the best WR's. Andy made several other crazy offers like that to teams I can't think off the top of my head. He wouldn't even think about a trade like that.
