We obviously are going to picking up one WR this year and I would like to know when and where do you think we are going to one up. You can only pick one.

    My Selection:

    Adarius Bowman--Draft 3 RD -- OK-6-4 220 4.55

I think this would be the playmaker we don't have and would immediately have an impact on our passing game especially in the red zone. We need an offensive playmaker and he is the best option. I like Jordy Nelson as well but I think bowman has more to add on the pro level. We need that big WR that will make big plays and that can run after the catch. I think clowney and stuckey could pay off this year in the slot and stretch the field going deep so we need Bowman as a differnt type of threat.

The two big draft guys I like are Limas Sweed, and James Hardy... In FA I tend to be more fond of Bernard Berrian, and Bryant Johnson. I dont think Johnson would come here because he wants a chance to start, which he never got in Arizona because of Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. So I think Berrian is more likely to come in and be a #3 guy on an up and coming team...

I am high on Berrian but I think he is similar to Stuckey and Clowney in regards to speed and how we would use him. I think the "big" WR is the future and we need to get ours. Bowman is a beast compared to most little corners.

Bowman would compliment Coles and Cotch well, especially in the Red Zone. Clemens will have s nice big target to throw to.

If we are going to upgrade WR at all, I'd say more than likely it should be done in the mid-high rounds of the draft, rather than FA. The only real bargain FA WR I see is Porter...

I like it, do you think we will go for a WR in the second round?

If we pick up an extra 2nd round draft pick (Vilma trade), I think we'll use it on a WR.

I also like Adarius Bowman, but my gut tells me he's gonna move up draft boards to top of 2nd round, maybe late 1st round.

He did terrible at the senior bowl practices, all he did was drop passes, some people have him falling to the 3rd because of it, unless he has an awesome combine, he is not going in the first.

But I'm a big fan of Devin Thomas, and if we got another 2nd rounder I wouldn't mind taking him there.

    Oh s--t.

I guess he'll be available in the 3rd or 4th.

I missed all of Senior Bowl week.

    Mario Manningham -

If he drops to our pick in Round 2 we should go get him. An excellent route runner, with the shiftyness (if there is such a word) to make people miss and separation speed. He might not show it in his 40 time, but he has rarely if ewver been caught from behind.

He is also an excellent blocking WR. )All Big 10 offenseive players need to know how to block). Blocking is a facet that should never be forgotten when drafting a WR - a good block by a WR turns a 4 yard off tackle run into a 7 or 8 yard run.

Eh. I wouldn't take a WR that high, and Manningham is more a luxury than a need...we need a big WR or TE more than a deep threat right now. A deep threat would be nice, but Manningham also drops alot of passes.

I wouldn't mind taking Jordy Nelson on day 2 and using him in the slot.

Anyone a top draft recivier ie. no latter than the third and thats pushing it. Doucett, Mannigham, Kelly, Jackson, Sweed, Hardy these guys need to be taken so our offense can begin, look at a guy like Dwayne Bowe he was not the top guy and now he had a great rookie season

i would really like the jets to take a look at adrian arrington, WR out of michigan who played opposite to Manningham. He had some big games for michigan including their bowl game. He's a bigger receiver at 6-3 200 pounds and could be a good option who could fall to day 2

I hope we can get set on OL throu FA and draft a WR in the second. I really like Early Doucet, James Hardy and Limas Sweed there. But Bowman or Earl Bennett in the 3rd would also be a nice pickup, if we go OL or OLB in the 2nd.

I think we have to look to the O-line in the second round- for depth and to learn with the veterans we should be bringing in in the FA. If gosder is there perfect. Then scoop a wr in the Third round. Go for someone big, we need a red zone target. Jordy Nelson I like a lot too. But I think we should wait till the third round no matter what.

Theres a massive amount of Wide Reciever talent in this draft i say we look for one in the 3rd or 4th around there guys like Adarius Bowman , Devin Thomas , James Hardy , Marcus Monk , DeSean Jackson , Mario Manningham , Malcolm Kelly [Maybe the Best?] some of those bigger names will cost a higher round pick but could be worth it aslong as we solve our lines and get someone who can knock the QB on his caboose!
