If the Pats won, they would have still been stained by the Spygate scandal. We could have always thrown that in their faces. With the Giants winning, they will hog the spotlight in the New York media for awhile. People will also say their victory over the Pats tops our victory over the Colts in Super Bowl III. It was nice to see the Patriots lose but I have very mixed feelings about the Giants being the ones that beat them.

You are crazy. The Patriots LOST. 18-1 my friend. I could not ask for more. Spygate? Who cares? They would be champs. I would not throw that in their face. They are the best team in the NFL. This is much MUCH, better. :breakdance:

The Giant victory shows that N.E.* cannot win without cheating. Then again, watching Belli run off the field with TIME ON THE CLOCK was priceless. Lets face it. For once, N.E.* was out coached!!!

I was rooting for the Giants hard too. I don't care about the Giants getting attention. Let them. They deserve it. Our day will come some day, hopefully while I'm still alive.

You are an IDIOT.....The patriots LOSING has to be the greatest felling ever......I am happy for the Giants. I lost my voice to nite not for the Giants victory for the PATS lose.

SCREW THE PATS> AND THE CLASSLES BELICHECK for walking of the field before the game was over.

Whoever says that has absolutely no sense of football history and their word should in consequence be ignored.

No...this still isn't bigger than SB III. These were two NFL teams, as opposed to NFL vs. AFL. SB III was the birth of the modern NFL.

I have less of a problem with the people that really hate the Pats posting shit talk about them losing or being happy about it in general. But it's pretty sickening to read how all these supposed Jets fans were "rooting so hard" for the Giants.

Some of my giants fans friends are being dicks about it saying "where are the jets" but most are being cool about it. I really don't care that much though, Im so happy to see the Pats eat it.

NY Vs Boston,I will always be rooting hard for NY. I've been a supposed Jet fan since the early 80s.

Super Bowl 3 the Jets were 16 1/2 point underdogs playing in a completely different (supposedly inferior) league. The giants played the pats this year already and nearly beat them.

heck even we played them close.

You're projecting your baseball loyalties onto other sports. Understandable, but realize that not every Jets fan is also a Yankees fan.

I rooted just as hard for the Mets in 86. The Pats are the Jets rival,I root for the Jets, and who ever is playing the pats,Dolphins or Bills.

The Jets and Patriots are rivals.

The Jets and Giants are teams that play near each other.

It was an easy decision who to root for.

As a Jets fan, in this current era of football, I can't see how you could cheer for the Patriots to win. Or atleast not be a little happy that they lost. (Alot happy really :) ) If the Patriots won, it would of been a horrible season of football. The Giants win made up for it BIG TIME.
