Who are they going to be playing though?
If I were a Bills fan I would think this is the first step to relocation , gageing support.
Maybe Canada will get another team in the NFL if the Bills move there.

Another question I have is , will they have to re-align the leagues if this happens?

Bills fans should feel pretty good, this at least guarantees they'll be playing the majority of their home games in Orchard Park over bthe next 5 years.

No, this move wouldn't have any effect on realignment. These divisions will look the same for a long time regardless if a team moves or not.

one of the stupidest things I've heard deals with the tickets

You must buy all 8 tickets as a package deal for the 5 years, can't buy them seperately (unless its from like ebay or something)

Only 5 of the games will be regular season also, so that could be a driving point to not buy them.

I've heard that Bills season ticket holders are pissed at this move

Don't know, but it doesn't change things much. Canada is Canada.

Though it should, if NO and Buff move maybe just maybe Goodell will consider a decent realignment aka actually place teams where they should be.

I wish Atlanta and Jacksonville were in the same division and the Colts and Bengals were together.

For the Bills sake, they better hope these games are in September or October. Since the Dome can not be opened in the winter, it takes the "weather advantage" away from Buffalo

So if the Bills move then there will be zero NFL teams that are actually true NY teams?

That of course is a ploy by Wilson Inc to drive out the true fans and drive down season tickets numbers so they can use that to present that they are losing money and move the team to another locale.

The NFL has approached Normand Legault ( promoter of Canadian Grand Prix and Montreal Nascar) to host an exhibition game in Montreal. He refused at first but is now looking at a possible 2009 pre season game. It would be great to have the Jets play here and the players will love Chez Paree! ( world renowned strip bar)

I wasn't basing it on the teams, but the distance between the cities.
I thought it would have been so cool if the USFL merged with the NFL in 1986. The best two choices would have been the Baltimore Stars and Jacksonville Bulls. The Bulls would have gone into the NFC West with Atlanta. Baltimore would have been placed in the AFC Central with Pittsburgh, Houston, Cleveland, and Cincinnati.

Knowing our luck. We will have a re-alignment in about4 years. The Pats will suck once again , the Phins will continue to be a messy thorn in our side , we will be looking to make a SB run......and Indy Colts are the new 'Pats' arrive back in the AFC East.

The only change that would make sense if this happened would be Baltimore to the AFC East and Toronto to the AFC North.

If divisions were drawn to be logically consistent with geographic reality we'd have something like this:

AFC East - Baltimore, Buffalo, New England, New York

AFC North - Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh

AFC South - Jacksonville, Miami, Tennessee, Houston

AFC West - Kansas City, Denver, Oakland, San Diego

They got one of the divisions right.
