It seems clear that the top six picks aren't set. There are a number of guys that the Jets could take at # 6 depending upon who is available.

With that being said, I think it may be a lot easier to guess who will be left on the board at the # 11 spot. Ignoring the order of the selections, who do you guys think are the top 10 guys to get selected?

Here is my list in no particular order (as we are pre combine, I used positions instead of names for a couple picks:

    Chris Long
    Glen Dorsey
    Jake Long
    Darren McFadden
    Sedrick Ellis
    QB # 1
    OT # 2 (Clady / Baker / Otah)
    CB # 1
    Kenny Phillips
Pass Rusher (Gholsten / Harvey / etc.)

Looking at the players on that list I think there are a lot of very good players left available for us if we trade out of the top 10.

After the combine, either Gholsten or Harvey will emerge as the top pass rusher after Chris Long. I don't think that the loser of that contest goes before the top QB or the # 2 OT (probably Clady). I am not sure where the RBs go yet but I was surprised to see Stewart in your top 10.

Thanks for the feedback. I think this thread has the potential to be more interesting than simply trying to guess who goes at # 6.

As QB or RB wouldn't be the best pick for the Jets in round one I would love to see them go early.

stewart and mendenhall are two very good RBs, in a weaker RB class, both would be top 15 picks. But there are about 5-6 guys who will go in the 2nd and are really good RBs. So if i would be a GM of a team in the top 15 needing a RB, i would probably take one in round 2. And there aren?t many teams who are really in need of a RB, there are some teams who look for a 2nd RB for a Comite, but noone really needs a true workorse.

Someone at the end of the 1st will be very lucky getting steward.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Mike Jenkins yet

I have to think that a CB is selected in the top 10.

I am just not sure who is the # 1 guy at that position.

I really like Cromartie but I think he goes in the bottom half of round one.
