My old man has two tickets to the superbowl.. He's indifferent to the Giants, and he definitely hates New England.

The Superbowl is potentially a once in a lifetime experience..

So, do you go to the game or sell the tickets and enjoy the profit?

I say sell sell sell! If it was GB and NE it would be a tougher decision, but its the giants... What possible enjoyment could you get out of that game? Is it worth seeing your most hated team complete the undefeated season?

I would sell only cause I wouldn't be able to stomach seeing the Pats celebrate in person.

I'd go... But if the Pats run-away with it, get the hell outta there.

Going to the Super Bowl is a once in a lifetime experience.

How many chances do you get to go to the Super Bowl?

I say go unless he could use the money...and if that's the case, this might be his last chance.

I would rather jerk off with 80 grit sandpaper than go watch these fags piss on the Giants live.

I'd go to Boston and find some Pats bar all full of fans and I would burn the tickets in front of all of them.

This is a brilliant idea, but you'd never make it out alive.

Of course I would, and then I would sue a bar full of Patriots fans for bodily harm and mental anguish or some other bullshit. See? Much more money than you could get just selling the tickets. Think like an American, my friend.

I'd go....this is a once in a lifetime chance and regardless of who's in it I want to be there once. Sure, maybe he doesn't like either of the teams in it but it's such an iconic event I couldn't imagine passing it up. What if it ends up as the first game to go to ot in SB history or some other crazy shit happens?

In 10 years would you rather say "I went to the Super Bowl and saw the greatest season ever at its peak...or "I saw what would have been the best season ever derailed into failure." Or would you rather say "I had tickets one year...then I sold them and saved money....and then I took a shit and watched it on TV like I always have."?

He got them in the NFL lottery system, not exactly sure how it works.

He paid 700.00 a ticket for lower level seats. I've seen single tickets on ebay in the 400 sections going for 2 grand.

This is basically the discussion thats been going on, he doesn't need the money and it is more historical then most superbowls. I've been saying sell, but when I think about it, if I was the one he was taking then i don't now if I'd be telling him to actually sell them:breakdance: I guess it's a nice problem to face though.

Mine would be up on eBay in a heartbeat. The $30-40k or whatever is worth more to me than watching it live. I have nothing against the Giants and will be pulling for them all the way but I'd rather do the "once in a lifetime experience" when/if Miami actually makes it.
