Another pats player making a dirty move. On the play where Rivers threw a pick to samuels, vrabel was on the ground in the backfield and used his foot to try and kick out rivers back leg (the one that was hurt too).
Yes, he absolutely did leg whip Rivers. Vrabel is a disgusting football player. That's multiple times now this season where a Patriots player tried to injure a quarterback. Richard Seymour also played the game yesterday like a piece of shit. Harrison and Wilfork do it every game. This Patriots team is as dirty as the Jerry Glanville Oilers and multiple Raiders teams from the 1980s and 1990s.
That makes it another story now, because there was the story earlier this year where he tried to "recover" a spiked ball. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3057719
You're right, calling him a dirty piece of shit clearly doesn't go beyond saying he plays dirty. Football is an emotional sport, classy guys can do stupid and mean shit in the heat of the moment. It's idiotic to call someone a piece of shit because he leg whipped a guy on one play or because he did some extra pushing passed the whistle.
I'd be curious to see your reaction if Justin Tuck leg whips and injures Tom Brady so severely in the Super Bowl that Matt Cassel has to play the final three quarters.
I would be extremely pissed but it would make a huge difference depending on how blatant it was. I just spent about 5 minutes watching replays on Nfl.com of the Vrabel hit and it happened so fast, and he was getting pushed towards Rivers...a penalty may have been warranted but it looked more like he was trying to get him down any way he could than he was attempting to hurt the guy. And I don't think I'd embarrass myself enough to make a thread saying "Player X committed illegal tackle on Player Y who plays for the team I was rooting for, therefore Player X is a dirty piece of shit."
To anybody who has normal eyesight, it is very apparent that Vrabel purposefully kicked Rivers in the knee. That should have resulted in a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. It would have wiped out the Patriots interception. Vrabel's action could have resulted in a disqualification if the action was judged to be flagrant (12-2-8 in the rule book). If the referee was paying attention, I'm quite sure a flag would have been thrown. I highly doubt Vrabel would have been disqualified, however.
So if someone says "Player A sucks" they mean that in his personal life, he sucks d**k? Did I need to edit it to "A Dirty POS on the field"? get a grip dude. Dont be mad because the guys you root for are universally regarded as dirty players.
Apparently a lot of people around the country think it was deliberate, as do I. Vrabel is a POS: http://www.google.com/search?q=vrab...ient=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official Here's a nice article that gets it right: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...w_england_gets_down_and_dirty_to_win_a-2.html TBTF
And we just keep on winning Bet you wish your team was a bunch of backyard dogs that win 18 straight games, too!
Whoops. Brady's in a boot. Yeah, a cast of sorts: http://www.pagesix.com/photo/tom+brady+brings+flowers+gisels+bunchen?page=0,0 TBTF
 Do you guys have an automatic canned response for every dirty play by a Pats player? That is exactly the same excuse you guys used on Wilfork's dirty hit on Bill's QB Losman. Uhhh yeah, couldn't really tell one way or the other it happened so fast and he got pushed. I can almost hear Belichick say that. Give me a break
Guys...everyone calm down. Whatever the Pats do is classy. So it should be okay for everyone else in the league to follow suit. You fall near Brady's legs kick him.
