Every person on the planet should be rooting for the Giants in this game. There is no reason for any non pats fan to be rooting for the pats. In my eyes, the giants represent all that is good. Eli is the struggling QB who somehow turns a corner and plays the best stretch of his life leading to it. they have the kicker who screws up twice and then makes a record setting kick (first opposing kicker to ever hit a 40+ yard FG in postseason history at lambeau) Add to it they are going in as massive underdogs, just because they are in the NFC and because they have to play NE. no reason not to root for the giants hard.

How bad can it be. Since we got screwed out of the WSS, all the fans that did not like the WSS since they could not tailgate, can sit in the swamp next fall and read (possibly) the Giants SB banners while having their beverage of choice.

Yeah, it was the tailgaters that ruined the WSS. Get over it dude. Direct your aggression where it belongs.

One of the worst things about it not being Packers-Pats is I thought Favre would get some of the 'gift' calls only Tom Brady usually gets. Now the Patriots are going to have the refs firmly in their corner as usual.

This Superbowl is like a Red Sox/Mets World Series for a Yankee fan

This isn't my worst nightmare. I'm glad the Giants made it. I also think they're the only NFC team that has a chance in hell of competing with the Patriots.

Since the jets had no chance, giants are obviously going to be my second favorite.

i am so depressed. This is honestly the worst year of my life. Got rejected from my top college. The red sox win. The celtics are looking great. The jets suck. The nets suck. And of coruse the cherry on top, the two teams i hate the most. The absolute most, going to the superbowl. I have a bunch of giants fans in my school adn they're all gonna be gloating for two weeks. I cant take it. Thank God i have midterms this week so i wont see most of them. God, fuck this shit.

Or a Yankees/Braves world series for a mets fan, which we've had to sit through twice, sandwiched between a loss to the braves in the NLCS and a loss to the Yankees in the WS, capped off this year with a monumental late season collapse to the Phillies.

it's great being a met fan too.

What do we have for a point spread? Pats by 36?

  12. It's back to the good ole days boys. Being bullied by other local fan bases.

    Somebody save our franchise...PLEASE.

Meh now that I realize about something....

Look at the brightside folks..........1 of these teams WILL NOT be coming back to the playoffs. Oakland, Carolina, Chicago(of this year), Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay(I believe) and even NE thanks to us all have missed the playoffs in recent memory after appearing in the SB

We could be seeing MAYBE a Jets postseason and Giants being left at home.

(ok I tried my best to cheer you guys up.)

This is, by far, the worst sports season for me in my life.

    The Mets collapse
A Jets year reminiscent of the Kotite-years
    The Knicks are laughably bad
Arsenal knocked off the top of the EPL standings

The sad thing is that I won't see tangible proof of a Mets turnaround until next October, a Jets turnaround until next January, and a Knicks turnaround until next April (cause this year is over).

Im a Knicks, Jets, Yankees, Fighting Irish(NCAAF), Rangers(NHL) and Red Storm fan..........

This year has been awful. Absolutely dreadful, I got nothing to say about these fucking teams listed above on their 07 performances. To see the Celts, Red Sox and Pats be this good and maybe win titles in each sports really stings the heart.

I'm pretty pumped I don't have a real NCAAB or NCAAF team to root for :)

Well the Mets have a chance at redeeming themselves...they have the talent at least. And they SHOULD be in the WS this year.

The Jets are still 2 years away AT LEAST. And that irks me, we're going on 40 years without an appearance in the big game. We've only had a handful of close calls (1983, 1998...maybe 86, 04, and 02, but we didn't get to the championship games)

I didnt expect anything from st johns but NO NYC(Yes city not upstate) team does good in NCAAB so Im stuck in tourney time.

And I knew ND would be rebuilding but to lose 6-7 straight games to open the year? They were worse then the Jets this year man.
