They're gonna steal the SB III title of biggest upset of all time from us. I'm dead serious. If the GMen win, our claim to fame is over. History, Dust. Then we have nothing.
Well.... For what it's worth... I am happy for Eli.... Time for him to become his own player, get out of Peyton's shadow... He beat Romo, he beat Favre, and now it's time to beat Brady
Balls in your court Woody. That's your division rivals and your cross-city rivals and both of them have spent a fair amount of money in free agency to get there.
Jets fan living in DC... I hate the Redskins and their dopey fans so much that I started rooting for the Giants because they are the Redskins rival. Nothing replaces my love for the Jets but being away from NY, I don't have Giants fans in my face like many of you do. I'm happy for the Giants and hope they somehow beat the Cheaters.
This is the nightmare SB scenario for me though but alas I'm pulling for the Giants. Man, it must feel good to have your teams in a championship game. I haven't had one since the Knicks got raped by the Spurs and that was an eternity ago. The Jets and Mets haven't done anything for me since I started following them.
The Giants have a better shot than Green Bay did. Eli just tore them up in horrid weather, imagine Brady in good weather? The Giants came close once, so now they can just strictly focus on that game since they played them, and know some tendencies. Obviously so does New England, but hey... They're the best chance to knock them off...
The giants seemed to have matched up perfectly fine in the last game of the season they played...and no, New England didnt have any backups in the game...
This isn't even close. I absolutely loath the patriots. I couldn't care less about the giants. My hatred for the pats, dolphins, and bills exceeds to an unparalleled degree my dislike of the giants. I was rooting harder for the giants in week 17 than any giant fan possibly could. I will take this opportunity to root whole-heartedly for the cross town 'rival', as week of a rival as it may be. LETS GO GIANTS
Antonio Pierce, Kareem McKenzie, and Plax are 3 A+ free agents that the Jets probably wouldn't even target in FA. They, on the other hand, love the bottom-feeders with "potential" like Coleman and washed up scrubs like Oldhoffen. Unless you draft fantastically over an extended period of time (like the Pats or Colts), you NEED to use FA to fill in weak pieces on your team. Woody and Bradway (and now Tannenbaum) seem to give themselves too much credit for finding "sleepers" with untapped potential in FA.
amazing how well the giants draft. they get better guys than we do, without trading away picks to move up.
Hey, i want to see the pats lose as much as the next guy, but give belicheat 2 weeks to prepare for a team with injuries in there secondary and its game over
That week off is going to help the Giants immensely due to those injuries. I'm not saying the Giants are going to win, but let's face it...They have the best shot to do it.
are you serious dude, trading away Philip Rivers or Ben Roethlisberger for Eli Manning and then giving up the pick that turned out to be Shawn Merriman
