Unfortunately we have the reality of having to play in the Afc. The Giants don't make the post season in the Afc.
Who is my other Jets whipping boy besides Chad? Name one person? He is just so obviously bad I can't help it.
People like you aren't happy unless they are complaining. You don't have one now because you're content to bitch about Chad in every post. Once he leaves you'll find a new player or coach to badmouth all the time.
I never bitched about any other player in any post. Nobody else has ever been allowed to play so bad and remain a starter with the team. Anybody else would have been cut by now.
Oh, yeah... you will find a lot of posts by me proclaiming we'd have a 13-3 season and bump the Pats as division leaders. I was cautiously optimistic. I had hoped we could compete with the Pats, but I was sure we weren't an elite team. Sure, we got some luck the year before - without a doubt. At the same time we have a better team than our 4 win record tells. More likely a .500 ball club to be honest. We just had more bad luck and some spotty talent on the OL, and piss poor defense early on. The playoff picture year to year gets jumbled up. I always hope that we are in the hunt come the end of the season because there is nothing good to be gained from losing year in and year out, and as long as you make the playoffs you have a shot at the title. Like Italian said, better to be 10-6, than 8-8.
The point I was making is I would rather be the Browns at 10-6 or the Texans at 8-8 coming into next year as opposed to the Buccaneers and Redskins who made the playoffs. The later two teams have peaked and the first two have room to improve and make it to the next level in a few years.
Dude.. that makes NO SENSE at all. I'm sorry. Peaked? By YOUR estimation, but if they haven't won the Lombardi they still have work to do. I would rather see my team in the playoffs every year... already you know that your team is better than most in the league, and you get to square off against the cream of the crop. Every year you make it you have a chance to win it all. Look at the Giants at 10-6 and a wildcard. They have a real chance of upsetting Green Bay and playing for the title. If your team isn't in the playoffs you don't get that chance. But it doesn't mean you can't improve your team year to year. How do you think the Pats do it while still staying in the playoffs year to year? If the Pats go 19-0 they will have truly peaked because there is no chance of them being better than they are at that point.

You fail to grasp the concept that the Giants play in the Nfc. We might have made the playoffs in the Nfc!!!!! In the Afc they do not smell the playoffs! The top 4-6 teams in the Afc are better than the Giants, Packers and Cowboys!
What I fail to grasp is nonsense - like this post. It was a valid example there Iron Man. It's relevant to the Giants because they play against the talent in their conference.
And we play against the talent in our conference and that Rudy if we make it we have a shot give it all ya got BS will not work against the Patriots, Colts, Chargers, Jaguars or Steelers in any given year! You have to be good to advance not hot and lucky!
