Dan Pompeii is one of the worst analysts out there, and I believe he heads up the Sporting News draft department. -X-
No way in hell Chris Long goes 1 overall and Jake Long falls that far. Hell, Jake Long wouldn't get past the Jets at 6 let alone 12 or 13... I say take this draft with a grain of salt.
You can't really do a mock until all the juniors declare. It's good now to get a sense of a player's stock, but you really have to wait for declarations. -X-
As a Fins fan, you're letting DAVE WANNSTEDT of all people convince you of a players talent? Anyway, the worst part about this mock might be the Bengals taking another CB in the first round, after they've drafted Joseph and Hall the past two years and both played very well. No, wait, that's not as bad as Rice at #16. Or Long at #12. :lol: Why do a mock without Juniors?
I have heard Sporting News is really bad but that mock is just horrible. Quentin Groves is barely a first round prospect let alone top 10.
There are several Juniors in that mock, just not all of them, but seriously, Ray Rice in the first round? TSN is the last place you want to go for your draft info.
i cant even find an angle to support why they'd publish such uninformed garbage. When they do another one, i hope its' better.
Dave Wannstedt was one of the loudest voices raving about Darrel Revis... Wannestedt is actually a pretty good football guy - It's not like he's Herm Edwards.. Wanny is just not an NFL Head Coach, which would hopefully include being a motivator like Herm AND a football guy like Wanny..... Herm Wannstedt might be a real good NFL HC.
