I love him. he has more heart than I have ever seen. i would love to see him on the team next year. But we need so many more needs than that.

damn gustoon beat me to it, i knew i could count on him. Anyway, i haven't seen much of Zbikowski's play (other then ND vs BC) but it seems like him and Silva are similar players, but one thing i can promise you is that Silva plays with more heart and passion then Zbikowski

Hate to say it guys, I see both of them nothing more than very good special team players.....IMO, not close to starting material in the NFL.

i do agree with this, but who knows these guys can surprise. I know its not a very good comparison but Silva was a lightly recruited 2 star RB out of HS and now he's a first team All American. That being said, i think silva is the better player with big Z having more upside

Which is exactly why I compared Zbikowski to him.

I disagree with you that they're similar players. Silva is way better than Zibby. Not even close in my opinion.

He'd be nice to have on the defense, certainly, but at the same time, do we really want to be spending a 3rd round pick on a DB when we have Smith, Elam, and Coleman, all of whom are serviceable, and such trouble in the trenches? I want a pass rusher, I want a guard, and I want a tackle in this draft. And hopefully either a big NT or a big DE.

The very last possible position a boxer should be playing is safety. I'm surprised I'm the first to mention the C word in this thread.

And if we take a DB before day 2 I'll be pissed. We had some injuries this season, but when healthy we have a seriously deep and talented group of DB's.

Long time to go yet I know , but Zbikowski is prokected to go in the 3/4th rounds!! Man I would die if we took him or any safety that early.

Silva is my sleeper for this year. Hes one of those guys you see and his attributes just scream , bust! But this kid can really play and has the rare ability of making things happen around him when really He has no right to at all.
Will stink in the combine if he goes , great footballing mind and body.

I love how everyone considers Silva their "sleeper of the year."

Doesn't that not make him a sleeper at all?
