Penn State's CB Justin King just declared. http://www.mcall.com/sports/other/all-sptdigest.6225482jan14,0,4078296.story
Letroy Guion is a very interesting name. Good size. I want to find out more about this guy. Anyone know anything about him?
He's not a product period. Take it from a Penn State fan - he dominates WR's from the lower teams but he couldn't do anything with Hardy from Indiana and was actually beat all day by Beachum of Wisconsin... a TE playing a lot of split end due to injuries... in our blowout win this year. He's not anything more then a decent nickel corner with fantastic speed.
That was a bad idea. King just didn't have a good season. He was on everyones "watch" list but he just didn't play too well. He really should have stayed. He's a very similar player to Justin Miller coming out.
this is SI's list from their website today... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/ncaa/01/09/early.entrees/index.html Underclassmen who have declared for the 2008 NFL Draft Name School Position Year Branden Albert Virginia OG Jr. Adrian Arrington Michigan WR Jr. James Banks Carson-Newman WR Jr. Earl Bennett Vanderbilt WR Jr. Martellus Bennett Texas A&M TE Jr. Davone Bess Hawaii WR Jr. Calais Campbell Miami DE Jr. Jamaal Charles Texas RB Jr. Ryan Clady Boise State OL Jr. Anthony Collins Kansas OT Jr. James Davis Clemson RB Jr. Johnny Dingle West Virginia DE Jr. Franklin Dunbar Middle Tennessee State OT Jr. Jermichael Finley Texas TE So. You don't have to convince me.........I think he declared cause he already got his Degree. I won't even have him on my draftboard, he's making a Huge Mistake.
Micheal Oher is now my dark horse for a top 5 pick in this draft. He definitely could overshoot Long and Clady as the best LT in this draft. He's more athletic than Long and more physically ready than Clady...
But he's not even one of those bone headed athletes that can't wait to get out of school... he was on the Dean's list for a year or two and I think he held a GPA around 3.5. None of this makes sense to me at all.
