hey everyone!!!! Long time no see!!! Well since last time I posted here lots of changes have happened. Now divorced and then moved to Seattle Wa. This city is awsome!! Very clean and easy to get around. The pub scene is great too. Since my fiance works for the Seahawks and the Sonics I get to attend plenty of ball games. First: The Sonics need to stay in Seattle. This is simply where they belong. Second: Qwest Field is a fantastic stadium. The facilities are first class on every level. The fans here really got it going on. After a game my ears are ringing for hours from the crowd noise. I have never been in a louder stadium. Tailgating is pretty lame, but there are so many nice pubs and restaraunts around the stadium, its not an issue at all. third: Safeco Field is a very nice ball park. I was there for the Yankee series. I dont see why every time Arod comes to the plate the locals boo him as loud as they can I cant wait for the Jets to come here next season. For that weekend I am working on finding jet fan freindly pubs in Pioneer Square.
Welcome back, Jetman. Seattle is a great city. Went to see Jets-Seahawks back in 1990, I believe, at the Kingdome. Great trip, got out to the Puallup State Fair as well. I wish the Jets were building an intimidating stadium like Qwest Field here. Love the design of that place. Might have to make the trip again next season.
Let me know if you make the trip. I do love it here. I went to the Puyallup fair this past fall for my first time. My fiance grew up in Puyallup. Now live just outside the city in Issaquah. I cant wait for the Jets to come here. its going to ba a blast.
LOL!! Issaquah is beautiful. I live on Cougar mountain. its named for the animals that live in the woods here. The mountains are snow capped and a really nice view of mt. Rainier from here too.

Yeah, I think that was not long after the Applebee's guy, too. That was a pretty weird time, but fun.

Nope By the way I hate the A-Rod booing as much as anyone, but I think it might have something to do with the fact that he promised to stay and a week later went out and signed with a division rival :wink:

Hey Jetman, I'm new here from Australia. I have friends who live in Spanaway and they have a great view of Mt Rainier from their front yard. I agree about the pub scene as well, we went to quiet a few when I was there in 2005.
you're completely right... i stopped posting for the same reason but bash the people that dont vote... but there are so many people who post a lot of crap
