Brandon Flowers, CB, Virginia Tech declared. Projected second round pick.

He is one of the best tackling CBs I've ever seen.

Rice has taken a beating at Rutgers and their chances of winning the Big East are slim now with White and Slaton staying at WVU with Devine. He probably won't go as high as he would like, but he has the ability if taken by the right team to thrive in the NFL.

...this is turning into a pretty deep running back class now.

Ray Rice JR, Rashad Mendenhall JR, Darren McFadden JR, Jonathan Stewart JR, Felix Jones JR, Kevin Smith JR, Jamaal Charles JR, Mike Hart SR, Chris Johnson SR, Tashard Choice SR, and Matt Forte SR all have the potential to be big contributors in the NFL.

I don't think that Ron Dayne record will be broken for a long time. Those are incredible rushing stats.

Pat Sims is now very intriguing. At 6-4, 315 he is huge and could definitely play DE in this system with his speed (even some NT if he is willing to add on another 15 pounds, but DE seems to be the best and perfect fit.) He could be absolutely dominant with his size and athleticism as a 3-4 DE. If Gholston is gone, I think Sims is my choice, and even if Gholston is there, it would be tough.

He's going to. He'd be stupid to stay and play in Rodriguez's offense.

Wow this is turning into one of the deepest draft classes in years. A LOT of the best juniors in the country are declaring, and the draft is getting deeper and deeper, we are going to have a ton of really good guys to pick from in the first 3 rounds.

Even more reason to trade down and stockpile if the right player is not available at #6

It's turning into a very deep draft at tackle, and at the skill positions. There are still very few 3-4 defensive line prospects.

I wouldn't take it *that* far.

    This draft won't touch '04 or '06. Hell, it's not even '03.

It's a better draft than it looked like it would have been, but theres still no clear cut top 5 and only McFadden has really separated himself from the pack pre-combine.
