Why in the hell would a player leave early from Middle Tennessee State? Grades? I know Dunbar is an All-Sunbelt offensive lineman, but that doesn't say much and he's a big player at 6-5 320, but he's most likely going to be drafted on the second day...he should've stayed in school to rise his stock.
I'd pass..........He's a head case!! Have you ever watched him play??? Throwing helmets, multiple unsportsmanlike pens., made a ass of himself against Syracuse...........No thank you. The kid is very immature. He should have stayed at Louisville another year, to straighten up his act. There are many better receivers without the baggage of Urrutia.
Why do you think that, all ive heard about this guy is hes a second day pick not that fast, did not live up to last season... why are you stocked ? Im not starting anything im just curious
I don't think Henderson made the right decision...his value is overshadowed by Dre Moore it seems, yet I think Henderson is going to be a very good NFL LB. I would love the Jets to get him, but I'm not convinced he fits.
Rashard Mendenhall shoulda stayed in school not really for his sake because he should be a top prospect in a weak rb class, but Illinois as a team coulda did alot of damage considering both Ohio State and Michigan kinda of in rebuilding mode for next year. Juice Williams, Vontae Davis, Arrelious Benn are some talented players but without Mendenhall i dont think they could win Big 10
i heard that before anything he's gonna talk it over w/ his family. i think i read this over at footballsfuture.com
If I were Rice I'd leave. He sure is taking a beating running the ball for Rutgers. Only way I see him staying is if he somehow believes - or is convinced by Schiano and other returning players - that a BCS bowl game and possible BCS championship could happen if he returns.
i like when these youngans say they are going to talk it over with their families...... they are really discussing it with benjamin, aren't they? jil
I always thought he was better than Douglas. I remember him as a beast in his freshman and sophomore years where Brohm would toss it deep and he would go get it. I disregard this year due to the coaching. Its not Urrutia's fault the team sucked and I think it is likely the new coaching staff effected him and other players. We've always had good mid sized wide receivers but never the guy who could go up and get it. Urrutia is that guy. I think he is going to be a player in the league.
UCF's Smith To Turn Pro POSTED: 7:42 pm EST January 6, 2008 UPDATED: 8:23 pm EST January 6, 2008 [NEWSVINE: UCF's Smith To Turn Pro] [DELICIOUS: UCF's Smith To Turn Pro] [DIGG: UCF's Smith To Turn Pro] [FACEBOOK: UCF's Smith To Turn Pro] [REDDIT: UCF's Smith To Turn Pro] [RSS] [PRINT: UCF's Smith To Turn Pro] [EMAIL: UCF's Smith To Turn Pro] ORLANDO, Fla. -- Eyewitness Sports has learned University of Central Florida running back Kevin Smith has changed his mind and will enter the upcoming NFL draft. Smith, who nearly broke college football's single season rushing record this past season, had originally said he would return to UCF for his senior season. However, Sunday night, he told Channel 9 he had changed his mind. Smith said, "I sat down with my mom after the Liberty Bowl game and we decided it was the best thing to do." Coach George O'Leary broke the news to Smith's teammates at a mandatory team meeting Sunday night. Smith was not at the meeting. He is in Miami training. Smith and the Knights won the Conference USA championship and played Mississippi State in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis. The Knights struggled offensively in the bowl game and lost. A source within the UCF football program has told Eyewitness Sports that junior cornerback Joe Burnett has also decided to leave school early. Burnett attended Eustis High School.
