I see that Garrard led the Jaguars in rushing tonight. Off the top of my head, I don't know who was the last QB to lead his team in rushing in a playoff game. I do remember when it happened in four consecutive AFC title games. 1999 Titans- Steve McNair (won) 2000 Raiders- Bobby Hoying (lost) 2001 Steelers- Kordell Stewart (lost) 2002 Raiders- Rich Gannon (won)
If I heard him right, Ben is basically blaming himself for the loss tonight, saying how he dug the team into a deep whole throughout the course of the game. You gotta' love his attitude with the game. One of my favorite players in the league that isn't on the Jets.
by the way, Hasselbeck talked about the infamous "We want the ball and we're gonna score" thing in the postgame.
Damm... I lost a bet.. I had the under (20 mins after the game) that Yisman would predict the Pats will get blown out by the Jags in Foxboro.. :breakdance:
Even before the penalty they should have kicked it w/ over 10 mins to lay but after the penalty it was as dumb a decision that has ever been made. Why go for 2 from the 12 w/ that much time to play? it turned out to be the diffrence in the game.
 No, he don't get anywhere near my computer. I actually thought the Steelers could pull this one off. But I will admit to dancing around hubby saying "in your face" :steelers: He's pouting at me today. Big baby.
I miss a lot of the guys who used to do the games. Hammond, Don Criqui and Marv Albert were great. And I miss the analysis of Bob Trumpey. Cris Collinsworth is the best game analyst in broadcasting now and its such a shame he teams up with Gumbel.
yeah, seems like it?s gotta be a very long day for the Giants O. Running game not working, and Eli not hitting his Receivers. I love ot see eli struggeling
