Not that surprised with how it's gone. I think West Virginia is the better team. They lead 6-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Mountaineers defense has really gotten to Bradford with pressure.

    Two comments:

1)Bad kick coverage on Patrick's long kick return. West Virginia should've had him down after a few yards. Poor tackling and guys out of position.

2)Bradford made a terrible decision after OU was set up in FG range. He threw a ball that TWO defenders had a better chance at than his receiver.

that's just incredible. a WV player was basically coming free at Bradford from his blindside, and he barely tapped him on his way by. My immediate reaction was "WV is gonna get burned here because they had a guy come free and he missed."

But a split-second later, Bradford goes down to his knees and it's a sack. Huh? He barely got touched.

key to the game has been WV dominating the OU offensive line.

I love to see teams with less down linemen have success (WV runs a 3-3-5).

Good game so far for WVU fans. Nice to see them playing with some heart after RR dumped them for Michigan. I was afraid they would come out flat and not care. They aren't known for doing well in bowl games anyhow.

OU looks atrocious out there. They were one of the hottest teams in the country coming in to this game. I don't get it.

the ruling on that punt was critical and really hurt West Virginia. Very close to being a touchdown or safety but instead a touchback and the OU hits a big passing play

Stoops, where the hell did you learn football? You don't go for 2 when down 5 halfway through the 3rd quarter.

OU is playing with cement in their cleats tonite, except for a couple of bursts from their return team. They look unprepared and flatfooted. Very un-Stoops-like.

WV has been squibbing it the whole game, and OU gets big returns every time. A couple were called back due to penalty, but the WV kick coverage unit and the coaching in charge is doing a poor job with that.

Chaney has approximately equaled his career receiving yards in this game.

in the 2nd half, the scoring erupted. I think that last TD basically seals it.

I don't know why they had to play like turds against the Panthers.

WVU is my favorite college football team and I still can't get into this game. I have it on the tv behind me, but I am only turning around when I hear the announcers get excited.
I am down because the FBS needed a playoff system this year more than ever. These games are just glorified exhibitions.

that's game. WV's defense tried to keep OU in the game by giving them the 2nd PI+PF deluxe of the game (free 30 yard play with no time off the clock), but then Devine broke off after the ensuing kickoff.

West Virginia pulls it off. Big win for the program.
