I know that Miami is interested in him, but I'm not sure what other teams.

You know, I wouldn't mind getting Anderson. Then again, if Clemens or Chad had a solid O-Line, who knows how much they may be able to do?

As far as the trade you proposed, give us 1 or 2 Draft Picks also and it's not all that bad, at least I think it wouldn't be.

    AJ Feeley.

DOnt mind brining DA in -- but would not give real value for him.

The Browns nasty talent on offense made Anderson. I think he's gonna bust unless he's in an absolutely perfect situation.

Oh, he is much better than Feeley. Unlike Feeley, Anderson has proven he can start in the NFL.

I think Anderson could have a career like David Krieg or Jim Hart. If he did that, he'd have a pretty good career.

with that talent they have on offense, I feel that Quinn can also put up those numbers.....I think they will part ways with Anderson

I got a feeling if he is dealt, he will end up in the AFC East.. Dolphins, due to the Crennel connection with Parcells, or the team that their home office is in Hofstra.. Just a hunch..

Anderson would do well with receivers like Coles and Cotchery. Baker too, if they decide to get him involved more, which is a must. Incorporate Wallace Wright and Brad Smith, and maybe a WR we get in the off-season, and he would do well .

Derek Anderson had arguably one of the best olines, a young BIG TIME WR, a probowl caliber TE and Jamal Lewis running well.

He doesn't get all of that if he comes to the Jets. I say build the team up first before we make a trade like that for a QB.

Yea but he sucks under pressure.

We don't have nearly the O-line Cleveland does...

And even then, Edwards and Winslow save alot of his crappy throws.

Anderson would of sucked ass on the Jets this year just like Clemens/Pennington did. I would rather fix the O-line and stick with Clemens than go after Anderson. From what I have seen, he is nothing special.

vilma doesn'thave thatmuch value. it would take significantly more to get anderson as there will be real interest, a team might even sign him, giving up a first and a third for him

the qb play in this league is at its worst state in decades. he is nothing all that special but based on that the jets may have to consider him.

I don't agree with that, but that's a thread for another day and for the NFL forum.

I don't either. But there are about 10-12 solid starters in this league, and then a second level of interchangeable ne'er-do-wells. The shame of it is that a healthy chunk of the ne'er-do-well group is comprised of high draft picks who were, at one point, thought to be some team's "future."

On the subject of this thread, I think Colt Brennan will see his draft stock plummet into the middle rounds, now. Rightfully so. On the other hand, Matt Ryan in Miami would concern me. I'd feel much better if they kept the future of that club in the hands of Beck or Lemon.

Guys gotta Rocket Arm but his accuaracy isnt very good he throws alot of Interceptions and doesent complete alot of passes and thats with the Browns O Line that was very good this year. Anderson was only sacked 14 times. Imagine him coming here with our o line , he would be sacked 5O plus times and throw around 2O interceptions and would complete much less then sixty percent he's good where he is.
