If he falls to the second he would be a great pick.

I'd rather steal and coach up Erik Ainge. Ainge reminds me alot of Derek Anderson.

Brennan reminds me of Clemens actually...plus theres no need to draft a QB so high with the abundance of established problems on this team.

Brennan reminds me of JP Losman....i'll pass. I don't think he'll last in the NFL IMO.

I know he isn't...but I'm thinking Derek Anderson in the "build a kickass offense and let him run it" way.

Honestly, I'd rather find a QB like that (for a rebuilding team anyway) than throwing high pick after high pick at a QB. After the offense is built is when you spend your high pick on a young QB...the Browns were very smart about that.

I like Brennen, but there is little chance they draft a QB on day 1. If he falls to the 4th round (and he won't), then he is worth a shot.

Speaking of Derek Anderson - there is a report on ESPN that the Browns will be entertaining offers for him.

Not picking on you man, I hear alot of people compare people to Derek Anderson like that is a great compliment or something. Yours made the most sense of what I have heard about in regards to Anderson comparisons.

Here is a guy no one is talking about that i think will be one of the best QB's in this draft.

Sam Keller - Nebraska, Former ASU transfer has a rocket arm and strong leadership skills.

Now all you need to do is find a deep threat, three offensive lineman and Clemens is in business! Might I suggest trading #10 for some picks to fill this void.

Yeah, I've mentioned him in the past. Probably none of us have ever seen him play. Therefore, none of us would have a qualified opinion of him. Hopefully, the Jets did their homework on him and maybe he'll be considered in the 4th or 5th round.
I believe teams should draft one QB in every draft just because the position is so darn important. Occasionally, a team will land a gem QB in the later rounds. Johnson might be that guy in the 2008 draft.

No, that Marlins guy is white.

The Josh Johnson we are talking about just finished up his college career at the University of San Diego.
He is supposedly of high character and Jim Harbaugh said Johnson is better than any of the other QBs in college football.

I'd be interested in sniping somebody like Ainge in the 4th round. If he goes earlier than that he's too much of a project.

I do think the Jets need to look at a 4th to 6th round QB next year to provide some competition for Clemens and to have a viable option if Clemens just does not have it even after the line is fixed.
