USF and Oregon tie the Sun Bowl record for penalties, with a minute and 2 quarters of the game to spare.
Probably, as I can see Oregon being not too great a team next year, so he likely wouldn't come back if he was only opening for a BCS bid
Cal wins 42-36 over Air Force I am very happy to not only get USF-Oregon in Canada, but turns out I also get Florida St-Kentucky as well
Fresno State is now up 27-7. Corso predicted a blowout, and it looks like he made the right call...for once.
Kentucky opens up the scoring with a TD against the shorthanded Florida St team that Chris Fowler cleverly dubbed the "Semi-noles".
you're right. My bad. Anyway, Kentucky blocked a FSU punt to set up an early TD. 7-0 Kentucky, FSU stopped on 3rd down in Kentucky territory.
big fumble by Kentucky recovered by FSU (Kentucky had it inside the FSU 10), followed by a 44 yard return, and Kentucky can't stop Weatherford from running. 7-7 Meanwhile, South Florida can't stop Stewart.
46-14 Oregon has they have scored 28 unanswered in the first 11 minutes of the fourth hmy: Also, down 27-7, Georgia Tech has cut their deficit to 34-28
Oregon won. Fresno State is up 6 and has the ball with under 6 minutes to go. If they get two first downs, this game will almost be over. Midway thru 2nd quarter, Kentucky leads 14-7
kentucky stops FSU on 4th and goal from the 1. Then they call some kind of celebration penalty or something on Kentucky, moving the ball several inches back to the goal line.
Thankfully Clifton Smith finished the Jackets off with a 32 yard score. Watch out for the Dogs next year -- they're going to make a BCS run.
what happened to Kentucky before the half was similar to what happened to us. Remember the made FG, the accepted penalty, and then Chad throwing a pick? Kentucky made a FG, but a personal foul was called on FSU. Kentucky accepted it, had 1st and goal, proceeded to throw incompletions and incur a penalty, and then the kicker missed the ensuing FG. So instead of 17-14 at the half, it's 14-14.
it was a final like over an hour ago. They keep saying Gaylord Hotels because they're the sponsor of the Music City Bowl. Yay Gaylord Hotels!
