I gotta believe the Jets will hold onto Sutton until at least Wednesday, as will the Raiders with Rob Ryan.

He already would have a Michael Turner clone in Norwood.. No need to spend the cash.

This is the one thing I would like to see. They not only need to upgrade players on the roster, but also coaches on the sidelines and the defense was killing us most of the season. If nothing else let's see a change here with Sutton.

It would be very wise to fire Wise.

I'll be here all week, folks.

Fat Bill fired his GM......Just posted!!!!

(11:30 AM): That didn't take long... As expected, Miami has fired general manager Randy Mueller. The move paves the way for Bill Parcells, the Dolphins new vice president of football operations, to hire his own man to fill the vacancy. There is no word, though, on the fate of head coach Cam Cameron who will reportedly meet with Parcells tomorrow. There is also growing speculation that the Dolphins will be actively looking to trade the #1 pick at the 2008 draft for a package

I am not sure Cameron will be gone when the dust settles. I would think that Parcells would want someone as a puppet on the sidelines before bringing in a head strong coach with his own way of doing things. My first guess would be that Cameron for want of having a HC job would be more pliable to what Bill thinks/wants then other more established coaches. I might be way off here for all I know though.

Yea except with a difference of about 20 lbs if i remember correctly. Turner may have a similar skill set but he's a big boy.

except for the qoutes about Cameron policing the teams website and players responses, Big Tuna thinks thou wastest valuable coaching time... not coaching.

He'd be the perfect compliment to Norwood.

Of course...Dunn would have to decide he doesn't want to play another million years.

Mangini and his entire staff should be fired (right after Tannenbaum) but it won't happen because Woodless can't find anybody else to work as cheap as those two will.

By that logic, should any team that finishes with 4 wins or fewer retain a single coach or member of management?

Duh! Those are usually the worst coaches ever. Especially if he's a second year HC doing a total rebuilding job. I'll never figure out why Mangini couldn't make us a wild card team this year.

We should have hired Mike Tice or someone with a track record. You don't just hire a new guy and hope he's a great coach in the future...name one great coach who 1. had a bad season and 2. wasn't already established in his second season.

We may as well have kept Herm if we wanted someone like Mike Tice.

Mangini is 1-1 so far, he deserves an opportunity to right this ship before being sent to the gallows.
