I found this helpful website that projects draft position. It has projected opponents strength of schedule and it looks like both the chiefs and raiders and possibly the ravens will end up with a weaker sos than us even with the bonus of us playing the chiefs. We really need to lose today... http://www.playoffstatus.com/nfl/nfldraftorder.html
Not sure how helpful that website is as it makes assumptions about the outcome of week 17 games. I've been tracking SOS on my computer real time and there is almost no chance the Jets have a worse SOS than the Chiefs, Raiders, or Ravens. We could possibly catch the Rams or Falcons.
Depends on Strength of Schedule. As of right now the Rams are one game worse in SOS....giving them the higher pick.
4-12 to me is just as bad as 3-13. Either way we had a crappy season. I want the better pick to get the better prospect.
What he said. Exactly. We have worked to hard to blow it now with a meaningless and I mean meaningless win. I don't car if Joe f'n Walton is coaching the other team. We have to look to the future and not the past.
Looks like we are going to win - which personally i think is a dumb move - get the high pick and trade it to get more as we have so many holes to fill.
Yay- No McFadden, No Chris Long and Probably NO Jake Long or Vernon Gholston. I hope all you idiots with something to prove at Herm are happy.
Great... Just great... We went from the #3 pick with a chance to draft McFadden to #6 with one crappy win over the crappy chiefs...
I don't care I just wanted to watch us knock that smug look off Sperm's face. Draft position or not beating Sperm was well worth falling 3 spots in the draft.
For the record, we can still get McFadden. I only see Oak or Atl picking him, and I'm not sure about the latter. Plus, Al Davis is liable to do anything.
