I've heard of a lot of possible teams that would trade for Penny (i.e., Kansas City, Minnesota, San Francisco, Atlanta...etc.) but haven't heard of Baltimore as a possibility. Provided Billick does not get fired, here is why they make a great trade partner: 1.) Boller is a bust and a FA 2.) McNair can never stay healthy 3.) They are a veteran team 4.) They still have a great defense and a good RB. All they need is a QB to manage the game and they should be a playoff team.
I have said that the Ravens would be in the mix, but they are a bit cap strained next year. I think that rules them out. I think they are only projected to be about $6M under the cap before the draft. This is too bad, because I think the Ravens are a team that Chad would do very well with. I guess - never say never. The Ravens could give us some picks for Chad and Chad could give them very good terms on the signing. I wouild not count on this, though.
