Today has: BC vs. MSU (bet on both so don't really care who wins) TCU vs. Houston (come on TCU!) Maryland vs. Oregon St (really, really need the Beavers to win ) 12/28: 3 games 12/29: 3 games 12/30: 1 game 12/31: 6 games 1/1: 6 games 1/2: BCS Game 1/3: BCS Game
Just watching Ryan pick apart MSU , how the hell people here can say that he isn't a good QB is beyond me. According to the commentators , Ryan has spoken with Brett Favre , could GB be interested in him???
fucking BC missing the 5 point cover. They should have dominated MSU. With apologies to MSUJet, I was not impressed with MSU this season.
I don't think you're giving MSU enough credit. They don't turn the ball over , but BCs gameplan forced the pass. At one point both backs were out for MSU as well. Why MSU stopped running the ball in the first is amazing , they could have sealed the game there and then. I can't stop praising Silva enough , what a ball player he is. Ryan got the gameball , but Silva deserved it as well. Hoyer had to pass away from Silva in the end.
I know they are pretty good team, and 6 of their losses were in incredibly close games, but BC should've won by more. They just didn't play well. The interception that Hoyer threw to Silva was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. He stared his receiver down the entire play and Silva jumped on it. Silva is a ball hawk, and he was all over the place tonight. Without Silva, the Eagles could've lost tonight.
Wow this OSU UM game is awful. This is exactly why we have too many bowl games. I get having TCU and Houston play but no way these two teams deserve a bowl game.
Did you even watch this game? It took 5 turnovers and a push off for the final TD to get them to win by just 3. If Hoyer played better than landfill stink then this game is an MSU win. BC's "vaunted" run D was a joke and while Ryan had a decent game he completed less than 50% of his passes. I am just disgusted that Hoyer threw the game away.
There was interference going both ways all game , sometimes they get called sometimes they don't. Yes it was a push off. The 2 point conversion looked iffy to me , did he really have possession of the ball in bounds? BCs D was not at their best at all, in these type of winner takes all games , commiting to the run is a hard thing to do well , unless of course you rank in the top 10 , I would say it was more of a case of bend don't break. My god don't take anything away from MSUs backs either. Ringer is outstanding. Ryan completed 50% of his passes to average at best WRs with the exception of Gunnell who I would say is just above average. How many drops did BCs receivers have??? Hoyer looks small and has problems seeing downfield over his big Oline , I noticed that when he got outside of the pocket , his passes were alot more precise even though he was scrambling. I know its not going to happen , but I would love Ryan to be a Jet. Probably going to the Packers.
I am not taking away from MSU running backs at all they are very good, but I've seen much better defenses in the big 10 this year, OSU makes that defense look like it is junior varsity.
