Sacks in the nfl

    The top 13 teams in sacks are 61 games over .500.. 9 of the 13 are probable to make the playoffs and then you have teams like the Vikings, Eagles, Bears..

    A ton of other things are involved in becoming a good team, but like we all know it's really important to get pressure on the qb.

    That stat can be misleading though. It could work the other way around as well, because the best teams tend to play from ahead forcing their opposition into passing mode for the majority of the game.

    he's got ya there bucko.

    although, the Jets were ahead of other teams regularly throughout the season. They still rarely achieved pressure.

    aboslutely agree they mave have had more sacks than teams but never got pressure alot in a game to rush the qb decision making and force bad passes

    This is part of the reason we're so terrible. Our pass rush is a joke. Every 3-4 team other than ours has two pass rushing linebackers. We don't. We've got an underachiever and a guy who should be inside.
