Fuck, I'm running out of time to unload my tickets. Maybe if I package them with a sandwich I can pawn them off on a homeless guy.

Bosko, what you have just said, is the most insanely idiotic thing I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

I will be there as usual. We have passes to be on the sidelines during the pregame warmups and I hope I have the chance to call him a liar.

    Fuck you Herman Edwards.

You might have a chance to play left guard.

Wacky coach who has no concept of time versus Spineless coach who loves giving out big contracts to bad players. This could be the worst coached game in the history of the NFL, thank god the season's nearly over.

Belichick knew what he was in for, it was in their contracts that once Parcells stepped down he would move upstairs and BB would Coach. He knew that and handled it very poorly.

Herm did NOT deserve an extension, he already got a nice raise after the'03 season when they went 6-10- how could another extension be justified just 2 years later after a 4-12 season?

Took us as far as he could. Not that I'm happy about just making up the playoff #s , but he did get us there.
The Jets will probably be the highlight of his career and the relative success that he had.
One of the NFLs more colourfull coaches which makes it a better place.
He maybe should have gone earlier, but theres no point in bearing a grudge.

He played to win the game!

First and foremost, Herm is a football coach. When he was coaching the Jets they made the playoffs 3 times during his tenure. To suggest that the man doesn't know how to coach speaks more to ignorance than to football acumen. Apparently, I'm one of the few Jets fans who liked Herm and appreciated what he did with the team. I don't think he left willingly (just my opinion) but I'm not mad about the way he left either. I think he did a good job considering that for the majority of the time he had the most limited and least skilled QB in the league in Chad P. which forced him to rely too heavily on the running game. And I also.... wait a minute. I'm rambling.
I liked Herm as a coach and applaud him for the job that he did while he was here but his time was up and he had to move on.
    I'm a fan... not a fanatic!

Yeah, he's on the other sidelines.
Yeah, he's not running my offense
Yeah, he's not in my draft room
Thanks for the 3 playoff years but you are never taking a team to the Super Bowl. You play not to lose.

Bellichick clearly fucked us the most. He not only broke up the continuity and great coaching staff we'd finally gotten after all these years, he took most of it to a division rival and took it to new heights at our expense. Of course a lot of it is Brady, seeing as Bellichick was 5-13 up there with Bledsoe before we did him another favor and knocked him out. But he's been a thorn in our side constantly since January 4, 2000.

Herm, on the other hand, went out to Kansas City and has pretty much mirrored everything the Jets have done without him. Two years later this is the first time we're seeing him, certainly a lot less of a ghost than Bellichick.

Who knows maybe Brady would have ended up a Jet if BB stayed? Pioli and BB would have been in the organization and wewould have lost the 1st rd pick we received for Belichick so we ay not have used a 1st rounder on Chad and instead gotten Brady later. It's depressing to think how close we were to building a dynasty rather than NE.

They may well have drafted him in the 6th round, but the other thing is Brady only got a chance because Bledsoe got hurt. We had Vinny, who except for the achilles never got hurt. Perhaps Brady would have gotten his chance when Chad got his, but if we kept the 1997-99 staff sans Parcells, maybe Vinny wouldn't have lost his job. Impossible to tell.

Vinny's career here was winding down so if it was '01 or '02 Brady would have gotten his shot and run w/ it just as he did in NE.

Ugghh It's so depressing to think what could have been had the chicken stayed in the coop.

As far as Herm I was pissed but he getting what he deserves already. The Chiefs are old ,terrible and the fans already hate Herm and Peterson. He'll be out of coaching in a year after another 5 win at best season. Don't be surprised if we beat the piss out of them if Herm gets the ax this year. KC deserves better than what they've gotten with Herm.

What exactly has herm done in KC other than bringing them back to th playoffs last year after a coule of years not making it? yeah they stink this year but they were supposed to stink and he had them in contention at midseason until some key guys went down. he shares some balme but the bulk has to go to Peterson for the awful team he has put together.

    ^^? ??????

They had a good team before he took them over. A great offense and a defense that needed a few tweaks to become a little better.

They actually made the playoffs last year and the defense kept it close, but of course Herm's "run the ball 2 downs then throw no matter what" philosophy ruined them. Indy keyed the run because he announces before games that all he's gonna do is get his RB 35 carries and the dumbass didnt change his plan worth a lick.

The team was so good hey hadn't made a playoff appearance in 3 years before he got there and still haven't on a playoff game since 1993.

KC losing toIndy had little to do w/ herm stating the obvious that they would try to ride LJ. LJ carried the ball just 13 time in that game and Baltimore and NE didn't announce their intentions yet they managed to win those games.
