For the following reasons: 1. We'll move down about five places in the draft, in typical Jet fashion. 2. We're playing Herm, who doesn't even try to score touchdowns. 3. We're at home (and I'll be there as usual). 4. We're due. The Seafood prediction: Jets 9, Chiefs 3 Merry Christmas, everyone.
Given our play this year, I would not be quick to right down a W. Faneca is not part of our offensive line yet. The Chiefs will still out gun our offensive line, that will make it tough for us as it has all year.
If you like to bet Take the UNDER. Id be surprised if the combined score broke 20. My Pred is Chiefs 13 Jets 3
There's very little that could happen in this game that would make me happy. I'll be unhappy whether or not the Jets win. Only things that would make this game enjoyable is if some young Jets player who hasn't broken out yet breaks out (CJ Mosley, anyone?) or if something ridiculous happens (Herm breaks down crying?)
After Mangini kicks him in the nuts. Really, we need to revive that thread for the Chefs game. Win, lose, or Mangini kicks Herm in the jewels.
I'll root for the Jets and take the loss and the better draft pick. We worked to hard to earn it. Why blow it now.
Nah that Jared Allan guy may break the all time 1 day sacks record this week. I bet you he is just licking his chops to play us after watching what TN did to our OL
Miami was breaking through our line all day long in the second game but our defense was so opportunistic against the bad QB play and the bad coaching (both of which we can expect from the Chefs) that we trounced them. I'm not saying that's going to happen, but I don't think it will be entirely because of a good pass rush from KC. Jets - 24 Chefs - 12 Thomas Jones gets 100 yards rushing Leon Washington breaks 100 receiving, great stats in a totally meaningless game.
