DAVID HARRIS....IMO, it isn't even close, Harris outshines them all.

I believe the Jet's might have drafted Harris at # 25 in Rd 1, if we didn't trade up.

Agree to disagree. Ugoh is good, but he joined a very good O-Line. It's hard to compare O-Line to ILB, but Harris has had more of an impact. Harris took over calling the defensive signals and is leading the league in tackles "SINCE" Mid-season, on a below average Front 7 team.

Honestly, I'm not impressed with alot of Rd 2 selections. Not doubt, 07's draft was a weak group. The Jet's got 2 of the best in Rd 1& 2.

Sidney Rice is in the conversation; he's be even better with a real QB.

hey, you started this. you don?t see the impact OTs have on the game, but when you think about the, as you said very good Colts O-Line, and compare it to last years, i don?t think there?s much difference. That means Ugoh repaced a 3 time probowler at the probably most difficult position in Football. I?d give a edge to Harris, but imo, it?s close.

Personally, I think it's Ugoh hands down. He stepped in at a more difficult & important position, and the Colts haven't missed a beat.

I remember alot of us on this site wanted alot of these players... Looking back... Im really thrilled that we traded up and snatched D.Revis away from the Steelers in the first round... And even more excited now looking back that we traded out of the first round to steal D.Harris away from the Patriots.

Myself... I wanted A.Branch but I'm glad we passed

The Jets didn't trade out of Rd 1 to steal Harris from the Pats. The Pats traded out of Rd 1(with their 2nd pick of rd 1), and didn't draft Harris who was projected to them in Rd 1.

The Jets traded up in Rd 2 to get Harris and gave up a 3rd rd pick.

I believe in Mel Kiper's last mock draft, he predicted the Bills drafting David Harris with their first pick. For some reason he fell - and I have no problems with that.

    1. David Harris
    2. Samson Satele
    3. Tony Ugoh
    4. Sidney Rice
    5. Justin Blalock/Ryan Khalil/Eric Wright

Paul Pos WOULD be No.1 or 2 HAD he stayed healthy however. Hes going to be a machine up in Buffalo.

What gets Ugoh to No.3 on my list is the fact that he hasnt played in every game due to injuries.

Sears has been great in the run game for the Bucs, but I would take Harris over all of them.

just a note, it is easier to get a lotof tackles on a bad team, you are on the field a lot of plays and your teammates aren't getting tackles. kenny irons should have been he'll be starting in cinci by midseason next year/

Your logic is flawed..............If you can't tell Harris is a playmaker and a force, you have no business making a comment on this thread. Why isn't Hobson or Barton making the same plays???....., same defense....cause they suck.

"Kenny Irons should"........says it all.....I'm taking about the best 2nd rd draft pick as of right NOW, not potential....or as I said before....ifs and buts. Injuries happen, if Harris was injuryed this season, this Thread won't be valid.

i agree he is a force,my point was that the numbers are so high because the tem sucks and barton and hobson miss them. On a better team he'd be as good or better, but would have fewer tackles as the linemen and othe Lbs would get some of them
