He has to coach to make that happen. But he will make them better even in the front office because all the bullshit that has gotten them in trouble will stop immediately. Just like it did with the Giants, Pats, Jets and Cowboys.
I think we are probably a year or two ahead of the fins in our rebuild but this off season is huge for the Jets. If we don't seriously upgrade the coaching staff the OL and get a top WR this team could end up being the worst team in the confrence for years.
Other than the Dolphins we already are the worst team in the conference based on our record. The question of who is going to be in 4th place next year basically will come down to which team is less dysfunctional, since neither of the teams will be functional. I'm thinking Parcells will come in and fix a few things right off the bat (QB probably and maybe offensive line) and the Fins will bounce back to 6-10 or 7-9. The Jets are going to be lucky to go 4-12 next season.

Parcells likes looking good. He's very good at turning 1-15 teams into 11-5 ones. It's nearly impossible to take that 11-5 team and win a Super Bowl with them though so he takes his winnings and leaves the table looking great.
