Here's the thing that makes me laugh about this thread. When somebody is rooting for a better draft pick, do they really watch the games? I mean, do they sit there and root for the other team?
No way will I just lay down to Herm....if we miss out on Mcfadden so be it but you have no clue how Mcfadden or anyone else in the draft will pan out, no need putting your hopes in that. I win against Herm WILL feel good though, and that's what being a fan should be about, rooting for your team to win. Looking forward to seeing how our Defense stacks up vs. the Titans. I think we have a good chance really, but we'll see.
i never bought into this momentum bullshit....come next september the Jets are still gonna be feeling the rush of the emotional lift from 2 wins last december? garbage
Think about it...you show up after a long offseason and see the same f'ers you lost a bunch of games with last year. Are you going to get excited and push yourself, or are you just as likely to coast through? I really do think finishing off the season winning 3 of 5 will have a much more positive effect than going on a 4 game losing streak. And again, it's probably a little easier to convince a prospective free agent that he will help turn this thing around if the team has something to build off of. Harder work by existing Jets and the addition of some new blood will carry to the next season. It's chain reaction, not a direct equation.
isn't that what happened when we beat pitt and they drafted 9th and got big ben, while we had to keep playing chad?
