Rookie is a term for a person who is in their first year of play of their sport and (not or) has little or no professional experience.

Looks like I was dead-on accurate about starting Chad. if he had been in there without Clemens or B. Smith we would have won this game (or kept it closer).

Kellen Clemens rocket arm sure made a difference - he threw a laser to the NE defender!

Chad's accuracy, smarts, and ability shined today...the rest of our team fell short.

it does not matter because there were no point to start chad. if chad was on that play maybe he get hurt and then clemens finish for him but not as well and jets lose by more points. this is logic.

Chad played the entire game. What the hell are you talking about? We would have lost 13-10? Fantastic.

The guy threw one pass and just tried to get rid of it before taking a safety.. The rest of the team fell short? The defense played amazing and was the only reaosn we were in the game..

Pennigton will start for a NFL team next year, but he only can take you so far. He gets you nervous every time he throws it outside the numbers. He had a great run for us and I respect all the hardwork he has put in for the franchise but it's time to move on.

Take away the Clemens pick, the blocked punt, Bakers fumble = Jets win. And seriously do u guys watch the game? Brad Smith was put in at the most ridiculous moments for 5-7 plays in a row. Chad never had a chance to get a rhythm until the end of the game because of this. And when he did, just like game one, he frustrated their defense, it would have let to a TD but McCariens is the worst WR I have seen in a long time.

There is really no defense at all for Mangini using Brad Smith at QB even once yesterday. Mangini is a loser and probably the worst head coach in the entire NFL.

Tom Brady, arguably either the best or second best QB in the NFL with all day to throw, and great WR, couldn't throw the ball down field. Smith was not in the game to throw the ball he was in the game to help establish the run and he did move the ball with Smith in as QB. The pass play on 4th down was wide open much like an option pass for a running back that sometimes works. It was a nice creative attempt to get something going on a day where passing the ball was near impossible. It's not like we have a backup QB who can throw the ball in those conditions. While Chad played well, he put several balls out their that could have easily been picked and he didn't move the team at all until the 4th quarter when the game was essentially out of reach without a fumble or Defensive play. Smith made a bad throw, Clemens, Chad and Brady made plenty of bad throws yesterday.

If he was so great then what you are saying is he should have started in those conditions. He didn't. I stand by what I said.

The option O didn't bother me... based on the conditions I thought it was a good idea... plus we had some success with it...

    Yes.

Clarke blows a block. 7 Points.

McCraphands drops a ball that hits him in the hands for a first down, leading to, Elam blowing a block on ST. 7 More points.

The team was in a position beat the best team in football, in possibly the last 50 years, without the Starting Qb, and their Best WR.....

    The only reasonable conclusion...

    Mangini sucks as a coach....
