Then build the team...you don't fix a QB problem by throwing a bunch of kids behind a crappy team and telling them "fix it." Thats not how it works.

 

Plenty of QBS have been put behind some awful teams. That is not a valid reason not to draft a QB. Since we will have a young team why not have everyone grow together? Our OL is not that bad buddy. We are missing maybe two pieces on the line which we can fill in the offseason through FA. So why cant we draft a QB to play behind an improved line?

You draft Long or an OL and youll definately win a Super Bowl! LOL!

 

Blanket statement...give me a few that have succeeded.

Manning? You've seen what the Colts have done since he's arrived (weapons and protection galore). Plus, he might have been the greatest QB prospect of all time...

Aikman? Haaaaammmmmeeeerrreeed until the Cowboys wised up.

 

Give him time, and he can make throws. If we spend any money or picks on a QB without addressing that damn OL, I'm going to drive to New York and take out WoodManBaum. In one swift motion.

 

There have been many 1st Round QB busts but there have also been as many busts at other positions like OL and DE. QB just gets the most publicity.

When was the last time the Jets had a shot at the best QB coming out and could've taken him? The Jets have been losing forever and we will continue to lose forever unless we get our heads out of our asses and take a franchise QB. Enough with playing it safe...we need a face to our franchise.
