Addai and the Colts running game have collapsed in the last month. It's even worse today. They can't run the ball against the worst run defense in the NFL (by a wide margin). Oakland gets gashed by everyone.
Troy Aikman is becoming the next John Madden... Amazing tidbits of insight here and there, among a lot of stating the obvious... "If the Eagles had scored 21 points in every game this season, they'd be 8-4, with one of those games being a tie" TO has zero catches... "They're trying to get the ball to Terrell Owens, and so far they haven't been very successful" Jeeze Aikman, ya think?
SD with 230 rushing yards against Det with 14:00 left in the fourth. They're up 44-14, too, so that number should climb. Sproles doing all the damage now.
Dallas will likely win the game... Romo will likely be touted as a God for 'persevering'.... And then he'll go home and f*ck Jessica Simpson... Life isn't fair.... Oh well, I think I'll have a beer
Interesting play at the end of the Dallas-Philly game. Westbrook broke free for an easy TD, and actually stopped at the 1 so that Philly could run out the clock. It's the obviously smart play, yet I don't know if I've ever seen a player actually be smart enough to do it.
I have him, too, but I already had clobbered my opponent. I know there had to be many fantasy games that were close and therefore were won or lost on that play.
That Westbrook play cost me 11 points. I do have about a 40-point lead with Chester Taylor still to go. My opponent is done.
I don't think it has so much to do with intelligence than selflessness. I mean, even kids these days understand to do that when playing Madden. Westbrook put his team ahead of personal glory, which is something I can't see every player doing.
Not to mention, to think of it, in the heat/adrenaline of the play, is fantastic.... Kind of similar to knocking down a pass on a 4th down pass attempt.... Everyone knows that's what you do, but as a football player, it goes against your nature to purposely not catch a ball thrown right at you
You know that sportscenter commercial where the Manning family is on a tour of the studio and Peyton and Eli keep acting up? And when Peyton flicks Eli's ear, Eli just has this look on his face like "Awwww....c'moooon..stop it." That's the look he has on the field all the time. If he were a TV character, he would be Ted the lawyer on Scrubs.
would it be wrong to run up the score on my fantasy opponent in the semifinals? I'm up about 50 and have AD, Longwell, and a defensive player still yet to go.
