No, I haven't seen much, but we're 6 games in.... In my opinion, a full 16-game schedule should be the minimum amount of time you give a guy to prove he's starting material..... He could turn it around completely, or he could flop completely...

How will we know if we don't give him a chance? Reverting back to a veteran would just hinder the progress of this franchise...

Let him try to prove himself, and if he can't we'll go ahead and try to find the QB of the Future in the 2009 draft....

Again, we'll never know what we have, unless we give him a chance to develop

Just because they played poorly, doesn't mean they weren't passionate, and they weren't trying...

Hell, Baker's fumble is an example of maybe trying TOO hard....

His problem is he's only played 6 NFL games in his life.

I think it's silly to make this game a Chad vs. Kellen thing. Neither is going to look very good behind a line that can't create a running game or pass-protect.

Holding on to the ball loosely is playing hard you're right.

He was trying to fight his way to the marker, like he always does... He's done it countless times, successfully, throughout his career as a Jet, and he did again, and paid for it... It certainly wasn't lack of passion or playing hard that caused that fumble

    What are you talking about?

When you lose you're not PASSIONATE. Only WINNERS are passionate because it's not talent that wins games...it's pride and passion and fire and chemistry and most of all, love.

Clemens is as bad a QB as I have ever seen. Maybe I should say the dumbest. A high school QB wouldn't have floated that ball out there like he did as he was about to get killed.

I can't believe the fools on this site that keep saying "give him a chance".."he's still learning"..and my favorite.."he's our future"

So what do we do when we draft a 1st round QB this year, and he struggles out of the gate?

Scrap him after 6 starts and start over?

Because he didnt HAVE to. They had a 10 point lead almost all game and they were running the ball at will and playing conservative, because they know the Jet offense sucks and cant score points. If they werent able to run the ball, you can bet he would of had over 200 yards passing easily.

Baker gets props for playing with heart, and as for the fumble... the weather isn't helping. I was outside today for five minutes and my fingers were numb so I am sure it was tough to handle the ball for these guys today. It's a play that hurts us, but it is what it is.

Ah, Jets fans. Make their effin' beds and then hate to lie in them. Same old, same old. Clemens? Pennington? meet the new boss. . . same as the old boss.

Quite possibly. I don't know alot , but what I do know is that KC has a very long wy to go , with/ without a good O line. He just does not do it for me.

Its pointless trying to reason with alot of CP lovers on this board. Their love for him is scary. He can do no wrong and every mistake Clemens makes (regardless if its his fault like today) just means hes a shitty QB in their minds :)

Kind of like Jenny Elshman in the 5th grade...

Man, that's a long time ago. (And yes, I changed the name to protect the innocent.)
